So much to choose - see the selection   Cabinet Options - wood, stains, & doors

There are many decisions that need to be made when designing the custom cabinet or furniture product. It is a good idea to have a budget amount in mind to guide these decisions.

The first decision is the type of wood to be used. Most cabinets use a hardwood for durability. Some people have a particular grain in the wood that they prefer. It all comes down to personal preference and budget. If you are budget minded, you might choose a less expensive wood like alder, a medium cost wood like hickory or maple, or a high end wood like cherry. It all comes down to your preference and budget.

The second category of decision is the type finish. You may like the natural look of wood or a stained look that enhances the grain of the wood. You could use a less expensive wood like alder, stain with a red mahogany color, and produce a finish that is very similar to a red wine colored cherry wood for a lot less money.

The last major category of decision is the door style. The more complex the design of the door, the more expensive the door style. Slab doors are the least expensive and raised panel doors are on the upper end of cost.

The bottom line is that it is all up to you. We can custom mix stains or use a special wood to get that special custom look that you want.
